GET READY FOR YOUR NEXT OFF ROAD ADVENTURE WITH THE ARB SUMMIT BULL BAR

Constant evolution of the ARB bull bar has resulted in many industry firsts and ARB has continually proven itself to be the industry leader when it comes to development, design and innovation.

Continuing this legacy, ARB is proud to release an all-new range of ARB bars. Included in the range is the ARB Summit bar, a new steel bull bar redesigned from the ground up to provide a bolder presence and a higher level of detail for today’s modern vehicles.

Recognising a shift in modern vehicle design, moving towards a greater level of refinement, detail and on-road presence, ARB decided to task its engineering and product management team with revolutionising the current design.

Always looking to improve its product range, the engineering team began a long process of research and development to truly understand the customers’ needs and wants. Paying close attention to the unique styling differences emerging from each manufacturer, the project’s foremost objective was to ensure the bull bar would complement modern dual cab vehicles while still providing the unparalleled level of frontal protection for which ARB’s bars are renowned.

By utilising alternative manufacturing processes such as press forming, and incorporating a range of new and practical features, the ARB development team has created a bar with a bold, modern look and a level of finish above all others.

ABOUT THE ARB SUMMIT BAR

The adventurous spirit of 4WDing naturally increases the risk of vehicle damage when off road. A high quality bull bar can greatly enhance protection for vulnerable mechanical components against off road obstacles. This is especially important when you’re travelling in rural and remote areas.

OPTIMAL STRENGTH

Constructed from durable steel, the Summit bull bar features ARB’s renowned multi-fold upswept and tapered wing design, offering optimal strength and approach angle. For added protection, the Summit bull bar incorporates under-bar panels on the centre and sides, shielding against water, stones, and other debris.

Twin Hi-Lift jack points are cleverly positioned below each buffer, ensuring strength and reliability while keeping the Hi-Lift jack from interfering with the bull bar upright. Plus, the integrated winch clutch opening means that it’s simple and easy to operate your winch wherever you are.

The ARB Summit Bull Bar incorporates a vehicle-specific design, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with original equipment components for maximum functionality and strength.

AIR BAG COMPATIBLE

As an air bag-compatible bull bar, it’s engineered to work with an air bag-equipped vehicle, with a mounting system that secures to the chassis using high tensile bolts and hardware.

Building on our proven air bag-compatible bull bar mounting architecture, the ARB Summit Bull Bar incorporates unique wings and centre pan, wider press-formed cover straps, 60.3mm top tubing, two-piece polyethylene buffers, redesigned fog light surrounds, and clearance lights. This design not only provides maximum protection but also ensures that the air bag triggering system functions correctly.

MODERN DESIGN

The Summit bull bar is a modern take on the renowned ARB Deluxe bar, designed to complement modern vehicle design with a fresh, contemporary design language. The result is the most visually impressive and functional frontal protection system, perfectly complementing modern vehicle design.

CRUSH RATE

For vehicles equipped with airbags, it’s crucial that the vehicle’s crush rate and airbag triggering remain unaffected when installing a bull bar. ARB meticulously evaluates the vehicle’s frontal crush characteristics and integrates these crush rates into the design of their Summit bull bars and steel mounting systems. This approach ensures maximum protection for both the vehicle and its passengers while maintaining the original crash pulse dynamics.

Larger Tubing

60.3mm mandrel steel tubing provides increased frontal protection, as well offering greater visual styling to modern four-wheel-drive vehicles.

Wing Design

60.3mm mandrel steel tubing provides increased frontal protection, as well offering greater visual styling to modern four-wheel-drive vehicles.

Wider Edge Radius

A 30mm wing and center section edge radius offers increased strength while complementing modern vehicle design.

Driving Light Provision

Exceptionally durable and secure, all ARB bull bars serve as an ideal platform to mount driving lights, helping ensure maximum performance and longevity. Driving lights mounted to a high-quality bull bar prevents problems such as excessive movement, a vibrating beam pattern, premature bulb failure and eventual fatiguing of the light bodies.

Press Formed Top-Pan and Cover Panel

Press forming has been utilized to create a stronger center pan that features smooth, continuous edges. A press-formed aluminum winch cover panel finishes off the bull bar for when a winch is not installed.

Jacking Points

Eliminating the need for a mounting bracket, jacking points are integrated into the design of Summit bull bars.

Winch Compatibility

Mounting a winch to a vehicle requires a properly supported structure that is designed to accommodate the stresses of winching. When using a snatch block to increase winching capacity, the forces are multiplied to several times the rated capacity of the winch. The ARB Summit bull bar features the option of fitting a winch, and is designed and tested to endure and exceed such loads.

Split-Pan Design

The wide, split-pan design enhances the strength of the bull bar, while providing the radiator and engine with a massive amount of air flow. An integrated winch clutch opening makes winch operation simple.

Air Bag Compatible

With an air bag equipped vehicle, it is essential that the vehicle's crush rate and air bag triggering are not altered when a bull bar is installed. ARB assesses each vehicle's frontal crush characteristics and replicates the crush rate into the design of each air bag compatible bull bar and its steel mounting system. This achieves maximum possible vehicle and passenger protection without affecting the crash pulse.

Fog Lights

Perfect for driving in inclement weather, these fog lights provide a broad spread of light to illuminate the road ahead.

LED Indicators and Clearance Lights

12 high intensity yellow LEDs and 4 white LEDs provide increased light output in all conditions.

Steel Uprights

Each bull bar upright is cut from a single sheet of steel and extends from the top tube through to the bull bar section and actually forms part of the bull bar to chassis mount. This process ensures the whole outer frame receives the maximum possible support. Wide, press formed cover straps are then welded onto each upright to ensure there are no exposed sharp edges.
