DYNAMIC AND STATIC

As ARB canopies have a strong internal structure, they have two weight ratings – dynamic weight (weight the canopy can carry when your vehicle is moving) and static weight (weight the canopy can carry when the vehicle is standing still).

The dynamic weight of ARB’s canopies with internal supports is approximately 100kg, while the static weight is between 350kg and 400kg.

    The Classic canopy includes a high-mounted rear LED brake light for safety, and its interior is illuminated by an easily accessible high-output LED light. Similarly, the Classic Plus canopy offers an upgrade with a high-mounted rear LED brake light for safety and an easily accessible high-output LED interior light, making it a practical and stylish addition to your vehicle.

  • Do ARB canopies hold up against the sun?

    Yes, ARB canopies are manufactured to withstand the harsh NZ sun. They feature a durable, weatherproof exterior with a UV-rated finish, making them suitable for the New Zealand environment.

    The Ascent canopy includes 5mm thick windows with a dark grey tint that allows only 28% visual light transmission. The tinted safety glass not only protects your gear from UV penetration but also adds security by preventing prying eyes from seeing inside the canopy. This ensures your belongings are safe from the sun’s rays.
