The complete Old Man Emu suspension range incorporates more than just 4×4 shock absorbers and springs. At ARB, we take integration to the highest level with our own selection of bushes, U bolts, centre bolts, spring liners, trim packers and suspension fitting kits.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Suspension

The Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 is a popular medium sized passenger wagon with proven off road ability and dynamic on road performance. With an independent front and rear suspension setup, the WK2 is available with a tow pack option with self-levelling rear shock absorbers.

OME engineers had the objective to develop a fully integrated suspension system for the WK2, addressing the main areas of lift, load carrying and ride comfort. The factory setup provides a soft, compliant ride that has the tendency to ‘top out’, with frequent bump stop intervention over demanding terrain.

Longer travel shocks and struts were designed to offer improved down travel and were tuned to complement the upgraded spring specifications. Three spring options are available, depending on engine variant, vehicle accessories and loading.

OME front struts for the WK2 feature an oversized, forged and machined clevis design for greater strength and rigidity.

Extensive design, development and testing has resulted in a suspension package that provides approximately 40-50mm of lift, with front trim packers available to allow fine tuning of ride height.
